For years, CPS have refused to investigate serious child abuse or neglect in Ontario schools.
I started Googling “confirmed COVID case” and found that there are only five media stories that give this statistic:
We want to change that.
Here’s how you can help:
• Research your child’s school in Ontario and find out if there’s a COVID case in your neighbourhood. The CoVID means it’s suspected child abuse, and the group has a list of every case of a confirmed COVID case in Ontario.
• Use the tool we’ve put together to search schools by name. Be warned, because the results show each school only once, so you may have to scroll through several schools on your computer to find your child’s school, but eventually you should be able to find what you want.
• Type in your school’s name or a string of the name of your school, or any other name you want for your school. Press search to find the case.
• Go to the panel on the left side of the screen and click “find.”
• Find a list of schools, and click search on the map below the school names for results for your school’s area.
• Enter what you see in the search results box. It may take some time to find what you want; we’ve put together a general search tool to try to find cases in your area.
